Teacher 1
Here is a Yr.3 teacher (8yr olds) running a quiet Creative Visualisation about emotions and feelings in an African story brought in by one of her African children. Note how many of them act out the story as she tells it. This shows that they are embodying the key learning points of the lesson and really enjoying it at the same time.

Here are 3 short clips demonstrating 3 different ways in which a teacher can use our Creative Visualisations and one clip showing head teachers talking about their experiences with Creative Visualisation. They go from very gentle and quiet to being very boisterous and loud! There is no right or wrong way to run them but it is important to begin them by matching the energy of your class, so if they are feeling tired or quiet, you start off gentle and quiet but if they are excited and loud, then you start off excited and loud also! Some children act everything out while others prefer to lie their heads on the desk all are actively learning.

Teacher 3        Duration: 3.31 min | Size: 5.3 Mb
Here is a Yr.6 teacher (11yr olds) using a Creative Visualisation to calm his very boisterous, boy heavy class. This clip shows how he begins many of his lessons by firstly matching their energy levels, in this case with a highly energetic and dynamic introductory Visualisation for about 3-5 mins, after which they calm right down as he introduces the key learning for the lesson. This shows how you can match your class’s energetic state at the beginning of lesson if you have a class full of boisterous and energetic children before calming them down for the main learning section of the lesson.
