They go from very gentle and quiet to being very boisterous and loud! There is no right or wrong way to run them but it is important to begin them by matching the energy of your class, so if they are feeling tired or quiet, you start off gentle and quiet but if they are excited and loud, then you start off excited and loud also! Some children act everything out while others prefer to lie their heads on the desk all are actively learning.
