Teaching Freedom Principal Team Members

James Dakin has never walked in circles of wealth coming from a family without spare financial resources. It has taken him 3 years of continuous hard work, learning to and being willing to ask for help and risk showing vulnerability in the process, a deep-seated optimism and bare-faced cheek, to change this. Introductions are now gradually beginning to come through people he is meeting now being willing to introduce him to their network of individuals who have, or have access to, more significant financial resources. This is still a slow process and more help is needed, if you are willing?

He has taught and worked with teachers and children in almost every type of UK school and, as a result, has extensive experience and a deep understanding of the many issues currently facing schools, teachers and children in all levels of society. He is the decision maker but, whenever necessary, seeks advice from the highly experienced team who have committed to help him over the past 3 years.

He has designed and implemented highly successful training programmes from board level of international organisations such as Virgin Atlantic and the NHS through to individual schools and LEAs, including his highly successful ‘A Day For Me’ Part I and II training courses for primary school head teachers in Leeds, out of which Teaching Freedom evolved.

He is responsible for expanding the project, fund raising, attracting influential patrons and recruitment. He will continue to speak at conferences to increase exposure, interest and demand and is rapidly gaining recognition as an outstanding motivational and inspirational speaker, resulting in invitations to speak at a number of international conferences.
