Teaching Freedom Principal Team Members

James Dakin BSc is the founder and creator of Teaching Freedom. He has taught and worked with children and teachers in almost every type of school within the UK. He has extensive experience and understanding of the many issues currently facing schools, teachers and children in all levels of society.

With a background in designing and delivering training programmes for international organisations, including his highly successful ‘A Day For Me’ Part I and II training courses for primary school head teachers. He has dedicated himself to the creation of respect based educational systems that support and nurture children all over the world. more info...

Clare Dakin BA Hons. M.C.O.H has worked internationally as an intuitive, coach and facilitator for the last 11 years offering business leaders and their teams a unique opportunity to step into full expression, authenticity and presence within their missions and responsibilities. Clare brings extensive knowledge and understanding of the psychological, spiritual and emotional impact of many teaching dynamics on both children and teachers to Teaching Freedom.

Clare began professional coaching in the early 1990s. Her work with people focused on self-discovery, acceptance, self-ownership and the development of openness, intuition and a deeper understanding of the part that we play in our world.

Glenn Blackie spent ten years in the Royal Air Force where he had responsibility for several aspects of administration of a unit of about 1500 personnel and a £3m budget. He then ran a successful printing company for 5 years.

Glenn is an experienced manager, coach and facilitator with the responsibility for supporting the teachers in the project and developing of the staff training programme for Teaching Freedom staff.
