If you would like to make a difference to the way that we educate our children then there are a number of ways that you can help.

Philanthropy and Social Investment
Teaching Freedom Ltd is in the process of becoming a social business. It now requires £150K from venture philanthropists, for the period March’06 - Aug’06, to begin to develop a sustainable business and revenue model based on Open Source technologies.

We then seek £350k, for the period Sept’06 - Aug’07, to continue this process to the stage where we are able to generate revenue streams and establish ourselves as a social business, capable of attracting social investment to enable us to become profitable.

Your money and help will play a major role in enabling Teaching Freedom to deliver on its vision and key objectives.

What your money will do:
• Enable us to complete our two year Research and Development phase
• See an additional 100 teachers trained and supported in our approach
• Employ 5 dedicated staff to establish Teaching Freedom as a social business
• Support the 160 teachers already trained
• Develop a sustainable business based on Open Source technologies
• Have an independent academic audit designed and implemented by
  Manchester University School of Education
• Generate three years worth of evidence, data and case study to present and publish
• Design and develop additional teaching aids to support our approach
• Have an interactive website created where teachers, children and parents can
   share our technology; add to it, shape it in line with Open Source technologies
